Crazy crazy week this week. Been doing extra hours at work, helping with the store renovations. I can honestly say I am sooooooo over electrical items. They stress me out too much now. Especially iPod docks, TVs, and micro hifi systems!! ARGH!
On Tuesday, I was writing up a list of the stock on the floor, and I heard a bag rustling, I looked behind the shelf and saw a guy with crutches. I asked if he needed help. He jumped and said no. I don’t think he realised work there because I was in free dress. Not long after, we started looking for the keys to the cabinets. Which we never found…. until yesterday morning. the moment they found the keys I looked around, and I saw the guy on the crutches again. So we had security follow them. The guy and his wife were carrying an empty shopping bag, they were right next to the iPod stand, and got spooked because there was so many of us. I think he stole a few Nintendo DSes on Tuesday.
The new area is looking really good.

Just got a call from dad to let me know that its very likely that he’ll be coming home tomorrow. =) Everything with his surgery worked out good, he’s still got some bruising, which I think he is the only making a fuss about, seeing as I’ve tried explaining to him that its to be expected because of the size of the wound. He just doesn’t seem to understand that. He’s quite amusing when he’s bored. The last few days, I’ve been getting phone calls from him every hour or so asking what I’m doing right now. LOL. The weekend was eventful. But being so busy meant I didn’t get to see as much of MB, and this coming weekend I think will be the same. While it was me busy with things last weekend, its his turn at being busy with thing this weekend. =( Had dinner with Missy C, VnT and Lil’A on Friday at Panchos in Vic Park. After parking the car, we were walking towards the place, when some old guy was washing his feet outside a community centre. As we walked past he started screamining really loudly at everyone. I finally heard what he said. He was screaming “STOP LOOKING AT ME!!! I PISSED MYSELF!!!!!!” =\ So we took a slight detour around a car to avoid him. Dinner was good. The food was really filling, and tasty, but I think the highlight of the night was the FISHBOWL of cocktail. It wasn’t all that strong, but with that much to drink, I was both full from dinner, and bloated from that much to drink. >_< By the time we got to Onyx, with Missy C’s reckless driving, I was still full and bloated, and didn’t feel like dancing much. It didn’t help that the music wasn’t that good and it was very stuffy in there. MB turned up at Onyx, even though he said he “might” go. I have to giggle when I think of the things he does. He tries so hard to come off as indifferent to certain things, but then he’s nothing but a big softie underneath. =) The music got better later, and I think VnT and I managed to scare Missy C’s colleagues. LOL. Saturday night, that was even more interesting. Went to Eurobar and then was suppose to go to Paramount after getting stamped at Metros. Only once we got to Metros, we foudn out if we left and came back, we would have to pay. So we just stayed and drank for a bit. Girls got free champagne. =) I went with Missy C to put my cardigan in her car, and when we came back in, the girls at the door gave us another free drinks ticket. LOL. I debated whether or not to go back outside again.
Ran into so many people that night. It was good. Everyone kept buying me drinks, and it seems like I spent the night drinking 151s and Jagerbombs. I wasn’t too drunk though so it was all good. Then at the very end of the night, Lil’A’s friend wanted to get me a drink, but the bar guy didn’t know how to make it, so he said he’ll make us something else. The moment I tipped the shot into my mouth I smelt the licorice and 151 smell, and then the taste hit my tongue. It was foul!!!! I had to bolt for the toilet. I didn’t end up throwing up, but it did make my stomach turn. Ergh! Went home not long after that.

Dad had his back surgery today, and all is good. I know its going to be fine, because he’s only been out about 3 hours, and he’s already telling me off for things I supposedly didn’t do yesterday. >_< I was talking to his anesthesiologist yesterday, and the guy was nice and stuff, but a little bit freaky. He stares at you dead in the eyes, and never blinks. =|
Currently I’m running around in circles looking for a birthday present for MB. I thought of getting him tickets to Cirque du Soleil, but 1) It wouldn’t be till February/March, which I need to find out when he’s going on his holiday so it doesn’t clash, which leads to numbers 2 & 3… 2) I need to get the tickets ASAP, as all the good seats are already selling out fast. 3) I’m gonna need to find him a present for valentines day by then…. >_< Now I’m thinking maybe those tickets aren’t such a good idea. So back to the drawing board…. what to get him. I got him a few other things to go with it…. but I have no idea what to get him for a main present. What to get a guy who has everything, and if not, he goes and gets himself. Apart from feeding him, I have no idea what to get/do for him. Hmm….

Had the weirdest work experience at work this week. I think I got myself a stalker.
This woman came in on Monday, and stopped looked at me and went: “How long have you worked here? You new? I never seen you before.” I could only get a few words in and I told her I wasn’t here a lot, but I’ve been here almost a year now. She then went on asking me very personal questions about where I was from, what my parents do, how many hours I worked, how how much I was getting paid, whether I was happy here, and whether I thought she could get a job, and the clincher…. whether I could help her get a job. I only got in a couple of “oh, um….” Then she went around looking at random things on sale trying to find out if I could give her any further discounts. >< By then, there were other customers, so I went to serve them. Only she wouldn’t let me, and kept cutting the customers off to ask me more irrelevant personal questions. ARGH!!!! Then she decided to go to DJ’s where she kicked up a big fuss about how she was a shareholder there, and she could get discounts. I was at the stage where I just wanted her to go away, because I had five customers waiting to talk to me and three customers wanting to purchase items, and I was on my own while the other lady was on her lunch break. She finally left, and I thought that would be the last I saw of her. Only she came back later while I was still busy with a customer. ARGH!!! She kept trying to get my attention by flapping her arms in the back. I’m serious. She was standing behind the customer flapping her arms at me.
I thought I got rid of her, but then on Tuesday she was back again. >_< Only this time, I saw her coming, so I ran to hide behind the giant pole. My manager and the other lady I was working with saw me do this and watched as I moved around the pole so I could avoid her. They then asked me why I was hiding from her. I told them, and they just laughed at me. =(
Yesterday, I saw a little girl come in with a unicorn backpack. The coolest thing about this kid wasn’t because she was trying to help me by pushing my trolley for me, even though she was half the size of it, but because her bag had a tail!!!! The tail was a lead for her dad to hang onto her. I want one!!!! I saw a monkey one once too. =D That was pretty cool. I wonder where I can get those bags. I think it would be perfect for my niece. Hehehe!

FINALLY got to see MB on Friday night. Was so excited and happy that he was coming home earlier than we thought, and I was planning on going straight over after dinner. Even better parents said we were eating out. =D I figured that means straight after I showered, we were going to the restaurant across the street which means dinner will be eaten up and I get to go see my MB!!!! =D
Only it didn’t happen that way now did it. >< Unbeknown to me, it was their wedding anniversary. So they wanted to go to the restaurant in Kardinya. I don’t know what their obsession is with that place, but I noticed lately that they like going there for special occasions. I have no idea why, the food is OK, not the best, but its good enough. The interior is typical Asianess. It’s like a mish mash of everything, even thought it looks neat and clean, the place is a little dull. But because it was a Friday night, the place was fully booked out and the earliest time we could get in was at 7.45!!!!!!!!! =’( There’s goes my plans to meet up with MB earlier!!!!! By the time we ate and stuff, it was close to 9. =( Sigh.
Saturday night was the Wandering Gourmet October dinner. We went to Lava Stonegrill in Mt Lawley. I was suppose to go to MB’s house first and then we’d go to dinner together, so we could come back to his friend’s birthday party. But I had to do some stuff for the parents, and ended up finishing later than I thought, so met up with MB a the restaurant. Dinner was soooooo good!!! I had the beef, and it was super yummy. The chocolate cake was also good. At one point though, the waitress came out of the toilets with a birthday cake. At first we were like: “Oh, yes that’s us!”
But then we realised where she came from, and we were like… er… ok its the wrong room.
We went to his friend’s birthday afterwards. I had to follow his car back to his place, because I wasn’t sure how to get there from where we were. If he complains anymore about my driving, I’m gonna have to bring up his driving. I lost him a couple of times and he had to slow down for me to catch up. XP The party was interesting. I probably would have enjoyed myself more, but I was so sleepy. Because MB lived like the next road over from his friend’s place, we walked over, and when we were crossing the park, we could already hear the party. We got there, and the others were already drunk. They gave me their slushie mix, which was pretty much alcohol and cordial. I thought it was too sweet, but MB said it was too strong. The others were just loving it, because they were getting drunk on it. *shrugs* I think I do drink too much sometimes. =S I know this because I had a few of those slushies, and the only thing I got out of it was a brain freeze. MB was drunk on his third round, and the others were getting overly happy and touchy feely with each other. The funniest part of the night was when one of his friends turned up drunk, and was at the stage where he was retching. He wanted to show us his bruises from the morning when they went paintballing, but he was so drunk, he couldn’t hold his shirt up, and it frustrated him so much, he just started stripping. Then someone brought up the one on his thigh, so he decided to take his pants off too.
I had an interesting conversation with a girl that seemed more like she wanted to drunken rant to another girl, so I sat there nodding my head saying, “oh yes, I know where you’re coming from. Mmmm hmmm yes..” She did raise valid points, but I don’t think she should have been ranting to me, but to her husband instead. She tried to have the same conversation with MB, but they ended up disagreeing about everything because the both of them were drunk and neither one understood the other. >< MB then told me I was to stay away from her when he went to the toilet. After he left, she and I talked some more, and I think she really should talk to her husband… and to stay away from booze…. she’s a real downer when she’s drunk. Luckily I was sober and I could see what she was talking about even though I was bored. =P
She then needed the toilet, so I turned to talk to a guy who is a friend of a friend, that I met randomly at Metros one night. I got cold, and the garage where I was sitting was starting to turn into the smokers area, so I moved into the lounge, and MB was sitting in the massage chair with a smug look on his face. The girl from before walked past and told me: “I’m sorry but your bf is a chauvinist. He just doesn’t get me like you do.” and then she stumbled off. I sat down on the couch next to MB and he was like: “I don’t know what she was on about, but she’s selfish.” I’m like huh? So I asked what she told him, and I had to laugh. He only heard her first sentence and had no idea about her reasoning. I explained to him what she said to me, and what she meant, and he was like: “Oh….. now I get it. Yeah, that’s not selfish. But she’s weird.” LOL. We sat there watching MTV for awhile and watching another of the drunken guys sing and doing hand actions to the video clips. MB and I filmed it. Hehehe! So cute.
Sunday night, Tc came over and we Singstarred to our hearts delight. =D MB also came over later, and he got me a turtle!!!! I dub thee Toby. =D Toby the Turtle!!! =D
