My feet!!!!

Started work at Myers on Saturday, and I’ve been working everyday bar Sunday since. I’m so tired, and my feet is so sore. :( I was put in Miss Shop on my first shift, and I was lost at first, but then I got use to it, and I could actually do things. Then I got sent to the Kitchenware section. I actually thought it would be fun. Its not. :(

There are a lot of grumpy old ladies out there. They don’t know much about the new electronic appliances, and when I don’t know, I told them to give me a second and I’ll go find a person who maybe able to answer the questions. Then they get pissy because I had to ask someone, and I already explained to them that it was my first time up there. In fact I had only been at work for 10 minutes. >_< Or the mum with the really annoying and irritating kid who screams and runs around in a circle . The last thing I would give him is any more sugar yet the woman gave the kid a chocolate so he’d shut up! Then theres the other one who brought her kids along, and they demanded that she buy them a fairy floss machine, pop corn maker and chocolate fountain. She made a “compromised decision” and bought them an ice shaver. WTF?! She’s the adult!!! When I was a kid, if I threw a tantrum in the shops so I could get what I want, my parents walked off and left me to cry it out. None of this compromise crap. Not to mention. That girl was like about eight I think, and she looked like she was nine months pregnant. :| Her brother looked like one of those chubby pimply kids no one liked in the primary school playground. It didn’t help that they were stuffing their faces full of chocolates at the same time and all around their mouth was melt chocolate and drool. X(

Today was a good day though. Most customers who came in were really nice. One wanted to get a steamer for her daughter and I showed her the electric ones and she was so fascinated that there was such a thing that I don’t think she heard much of what I said after that. Another lady came in looking for a food processor that could puree the food for her baby. Ended up having a long nice chat with her, I told her to get the one that was similar to the Magic Bullet and she asked how it works, I told her I had a similar one, but not the exact same one. She was impressed that I knew about that and asked if I had a baby myself. >_< On Saturday some Chinese lady brought over a baggy shirt and asked if it would fit pregnant people. Only she was speaking in a Chinese dilect I had never heard before, so I think it may have been Shanghainese. I had no idea what she said, so then said “Bao-bi” and pointed to my stomach. I was wearing a black top that was baggy. I wasn’t impressed, and I think she knew her mistake the moment she said that because she looked surprised then she stayed away from me after that. I gotta go massage my feet now. I’m in pain. :(
