Whilst poking around on youtube again, I found these two videos which I found amusing and very entertaining.

They are prisoners from the Phillipine jails. Hehehe.

This is some show which explains it.

OOOOOooooo!!! *Jumps around in a frenzy* >_<

Well yes. I’m old now. My birthday came and went last Thursday. Organised a dinner with friends at Chin’s the previous Friday night, as I was having duck cravings and they do an excellent Peking Duck. It was only logical. :D Afterwards went to Sapphire. It was quite, but still pleasant. :) We watched in amusement as this girl tried pole dancing, but just ended up looking like she was dancing around a May Pole. Hehehehe ^.^ The following night, I went to meet up with a friends  and thought that we’d go by another person’s birthday, I mean half price cocktails. :D Who wouldn’t? Well my plans for no clubbing night was changed when we went to meet up with T’s brother who’s birthday it was also, and with the amount of cocktails and liquor in my system, I had to go dance it off. So to Metros it was. But then we got detoured to Hits Studio, to wish him a happy birthday. Started an ice fight with the birthday boy and D. XD Twas fun. But I think it was only us three who found it amusing. Hehehe. T tackled me and they manged to shove ice down my top a few times. Seriously!! You lot are a bunch of pervs!!!! XP Got really really really drunk at Metros. I had three shots of 151s in succession, and then a few other friends who didn’t make it the night before got me some drinks. Then R came along and I was already pretty much drunk by then, but he got me more drinks. I didn’t realise that they were alcoholic till after I gulped it down. X( I think he got me a few more shots too. >.< All I know is that at one stage, it was like I could see myself falling over, yet I couldn’t stop it. Sigh. Happened a few times. It was all good though. Got home very late with a hoarse voice.

So to make up for a big weekend that I had, the weekend just passed, C and I bummed around Perth. We went to Makan2 for a steaming glass of teh tarik, then as it was still early we went up to Kings Park and sat and chatted in the cold. It was actually quite nice. Haven’t had a bumming night in ages, I wonder where J got to though. I was surprised to learn that prior to then, C had only been up to King’s Park one other occasion. Was thinking of organising a picnic there this weekend with her and J but it looks like it will rain. :( Whilst we sat and chatted, we saw a shooting star. C demanded that we make a wish, but I don’t need to be told for that! Hehehe. The last shooting star/ stuff falling out of the sky was last year when J and I were having a heart-to-heart at Heathcoate on the playground one night, and the sky suddenly lit up like into day. I looked up and saw a burning thing come down. I thought it was a fireworks show going on somewhere. The next day I found out on the news that it was a metior that had landed somewhere. Pretty cool. C pointed out that you can’t see these thigns in Singapore. I guess that would be true. the lights are brighter there so not as many stars would show.

I guess living in a small city like Perth has its good point sometimes, but a little bit of excitement would be welcomed. :P

Well as I’m a little bored, here’s a MV from OK Go, the guys who danced on treadmills. I like this clip. It’s pretty cool, but it reminds me of a scene from Garden State where Andrew(Zach Braff) stands in front of a wall wearing a shirt that was made for him using the left over material from the interior decoration of the room. ROFL!

She wheeled the trolley down the windy corridors, looking in the windows as she passed to glance at the bodies on the tables. She returns her attention to the contents of the bowls positioned at an awkward angle, cursing the inconsiderate idiot who placed it there. She then watches as the two liquids are disturbed and mixes in together when moved to form a cloudy red swirl in the clear liquid. Hmm kinda like miso soup but red, she thinks. She carries the metallic smelling liquid to the sluice and pours it down, then she rinses out the bowl and places it on a larger trolley, before changing her focus to the strange drills, tongs and blades covered in a sticky red substance, located next to the bowls. She takes one over to the sluice and proceeds to rinse the foreign particles off the instrument.  She watches as the red particles slide off it when the water hits the surface, and into the drain. The metallic smell becomes stronger, almost to the point where it is becoming overpowering. She then squirts a couple of squirts of the fresh lime smelling detergent around the drain and flushes the sluice to rid it of that scent. Taking a deep breath, she continues in an almost machine like fashion. She looks at the clock as she wipes over the trolley with the hospital grade antibacterial wipe, making sure to get all the spilt betadine and blood off the trolley. As she returns the cold trolley to the end of the corridor, she looks into the rooms yet again. A shadow of a human is lying on one of the tables with one arm stretched out as the other human figures draped in blue buzzed busily around the elbow. One of the blue figures looks up and sees her, and waves, before indicating to her that the procedure will be done soon. She smiles and nods her head in acknowledgment and mouths the word: Thanks. As she continues to the next window where another human figure is on the table, this one has a completely opened abdomen. She watches as the blue figure struggles with the innards, she looks around the room and sees the trolleys. Caked in dried blood. Oh great, she thinks, That’s gonna be fun getting off. As they continued, she looks up at the clock again, 12.45.

So what do you think is the first thing she thinks when she sees the clock?

Well before we continue I guess I should point out the girl is me at work. so I guess I should help and give you two possible scenarios that would follow.

1) She runs for the bathroom and empties the contents out into the toilet.

2) She wonders what’s for lunch as she is now absolutely starving.

So any ideas?

Well if you said, 1, you don’t know jack about me and you need to contact me and catch up. :P

If you decided that 2 sounds like me, well I guess we talk too much and you need to stop talking to me because seriously, you know me way too well. :S  I’m kidding! I’m kidding! Please don’t stop talking to me! :( LOL! Yeah. It was 2. I think I’ve been at this job for way too long. I still remember when I started working there and just a little drop of blood would turn me pale and make me queasy enough to loose my appetite. Now I can look at a surgery in which blood is everywhere or process an orthopedic case where the drills are still covered int bone and tissue particle and think. Hmm, When is lunch. I’m hungry.  >.<

So it begins….

At dinner on Saturday night, one of my friends mentioned to me that they are now expecting. After the “OMG!! CONGRATULATIONS” bit that we all do, I start to think. Pregnancy. Everyone around me is getting pregnant. :S Is something happening around me that I’m am blissfully unaware of? Just two weeks ago, I found out my cousin is also pregnant and will be due around the time I am suppose to go visit her in Malaysia.  The friend at work, who’s wedding I went to just last year, she took her maternity leave on Friday. As she is now off on maternity leave, all the women in the department have been giving her advice about when they were raising their kids, what they did, how they handled the morning sickness, and the test they had to take when they were pregnant. All this in front of me. By Friday, after hearing about what tests and screening you have to go through when you are pregnant, the blood tests, the bum scraping. Yes I said bum scraping. :S Apparently when you are pregnant, there is  a test where they collect cells from your bum to find out if you have some virus or something like that. I don’t know exactly what it is, and it was the first I heard about that!

In between hearing my friends and family talk about their pregnancies and all the thing they can and can’t do. I’m beginning to think… I don’t think I need a baby. I mean apart from me having to sacrifice my caffeine, my bladder control and etc, those babies are not all that great, I mean they smell funny, they’re loud, they can’t really do much so you can’t ask them for advice, and well all they do is eat, sleep and poop. This brings me to my next question. What is it about babies that can make the biggest, burliest man zoom in and do the whole “Coochie coochie cooo!!!” thing, facial expressions a must. I find it fascinating when I see my uncle who I use to be absolutely terrified of as a kid, play, cuddle and joke around with his granddaughters. There is also the female instincts kicking in, I mean, what girl hasn’t gone weak at the knees when they see an attractive man playing with a bunch of little squealing kids like he was a little kid too?

So I guess babies are cute when they smile and gurgle, and I still find it hilarious when they fart and they do that surprised facial expressions. ROFL! Gets me every time. But you know what. Maybe I’ll just hang back and everyone else around me continue to have the babies. :D I’ll offer to babysit and stuff, but you can have the little bundle of smell, noise and bacteria back when the night is over. Thanks. :)
